The Palestinian issue is one of the most complex and oldest unresolved issues of the international system. Numerous political solutions have been proposed to resolve it, including the two-state solution, an Israel-Palestine confederation, a single democratic state, the Jordanian option, and the Trump plan known as the "Peace to Prosperity" plan. Yet none have proven effective to this day. Although Israel has long withdrawn from peace negotiations and accelerated the pace of settlement construction in the West Bank, it seemed that perhaps in the atmosphere shaped by the Abraham Accords, and especially the potential normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, there might be hope for reviving the Palestinian issue on Israel's foreign policy agenda. However, with the events of October 7 and the ensuing security environment, Israel has completely removed this issue from its agenda. Currently, discourse about the full annexation of the West Bank and even the Gaza Strip can be heard. This paper seeks to answer the question: What factors led to the removal of the Palestinian issue from Israel's foreign policy agenda? In response, it must be said that the confluence of three components—first, the rise of the right-wing movement and its discourse in Israel, especially after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin at the unit level; second, the occurrence of prolonged battles between Palestine and Israel (with Operation Al-Aqsa Flood being the latest manifestation of this historical tension),
