Abstract

Brazil has had a longstanding desire to become a global power and gain a seat on the United Nations Security Council, Regardless of which government has been in power. This goal between the military, the academic elite and Brazilian politicians is one of the points of commonality and a source of national unity. Accordingly, and considering the extensive investment in the domestic and foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the issue of BRICS and the discussions of de-polarization and multilateral ism in the future, it is necessary to conduct comprehensive studies on the future of Brazil and BRICS in order to make positive and beneficial directions in political decision-making. Based on the aforementioned necessity, the main question is that based on the views presented, what is the role and capability of Brazil in the BRICS based on the theory of interdependence, or at what level and position is it?. The available data on Brazil's economic and political status also suggests that, despite extensive government advertising, this country has a long way to go to become a global power, and its influence within BRICS is still in its early stages. Research findings also emphasize that Brazil can only become an effective player on the global and regional stage if it can design and implement stable and consistent policies within the country, without being hindered by left-wing or right-wing actions of governments. The research method is based on descriptive and analytical data from libraries to provide an explanatory perspective.
